Menu Planning (10/4-16/4)

Here’s my attempt at a menu plan for Thursday 10th to Wednesday 16th.
In order to maximise my budgeting, I plan all the food I eat, except I do leave some money for extras during the week.

Thursday: 10/4/08
Notes: Cereal and milk worked well last week - and gets me an extra dairy serving, too. Lemon juice is needed to keep my apple slices fresh until I eat them

Friday: 11/4/08
Notes: My pizza day - going for fresh tomatoes and traditional mushrooms. My pizza recipe here. Not sure if BP’ll eat the rice pudding, but I’ll eat it up if he doesn’t.

Saturday: 12/4/08
Notes: Attempting a tortilla with an oatcake - risky. I do love soup with an orange, but if mum visits again, its likely we’ll eat out. In that case, I’ll eat the soup for dinner and save the maccaroni cheese.  Going to go up to town to buy a better bag - one that’ll fit more lunchboxes so I can eat more.

Notes: I love a roast dinner, but BP asked for something for just the two of us, so I’m roasting a pork tenderloin. I’ve also got a Heinz tinned pudding to eat up (pleasure not duty).

Leftover soup and roll

Roast pork tenderloin
Roast potatoes, stuffing, yorkshire pudding

Monday: 14/4/08
Notes: There won’t be any leftovers from that roast. Not sure if that’s good or bad yet. Less on the lunchbox list, because it isn’t fitting in the tubs anyway
